Indications

Avvasept Oral Spray is indicated for:

• Relief from mouth and throat unease
• Antiseptic protection of the oral cavity and oropharyngeal region
• Reduction of microbial load in the mouth and throat
• Symptomatic relief from throat irritation and discomfort

Mechanism of Action

The active ingredient, Benzyldimethyl [3-(myristoylamino)propyl] ammonium chloride, is a quaternary ammonium compound (QAC) with broad-spectrum antiseptic activity. It works by disrupting microbial cell membranes, leading to leakage of intracellular contents and cell death. At the 0.01% concentration used in this formulation, it provides effective local antiseptic action with a favourable safety profile for oral mucosal use.

Direction for Use

Always read the package leaflet before use.

• Spray directly into the mouth or throat as directed in the package leaflet.
• Do not swallow. Spit out excess product after use.
• Use the number of sprays recommended in the package insert.
• If symptoms persist or worsen, consult a healthcare professional.

Storage & Handling

• Store below 25°C.
• Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
• Store in original packaging to protect from light and contamination.
• Do not use after the expiry date stated on the label.
